Jonathan has been a private health care provider since 1998, he is a second generation therapist who is trained to work with clients physically or psychologically. One of Jonathan’s interests rests in the mind body connection, how the two effect the bodies ability to function. This inter relationship is called psychosomatic medicine. Stress, fear, panic, IBS and many other ailments have psychological and physiological components to them and addressing only one component will only go halfway in resolving the problem.
Jonathan’s interests in technology and psychology has help him grow his understanding of the relationship that digital natives (born within the internet age) and digital immigrants (born before the internet age) have with their technology and how this relationship has a direct effect on each the groups. There are a growing number of social and psychological issues that are driven by this digital relationship and digital disconnect, Jonathan has found himself not only working with clients on the subject but also giving guidance to parents, practitioners and organisations on this growing field of digital existence.
Jonathan is a registered member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) and a member of the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC). Jonathan is registered as a provider of psychotherapy for BUPA provider number 30005354 and AVIVA provider number 600019821
